Union County Freeholders Meeting
The most important thing you can do this week is increasing turnout at Thursday night’s Freeholder meeting in Elizabeth.
We want to thank all of the Cranford residents who attended last week’s “meeting” with PSE&G. It was great to see so many faces and to hear you voice your concerns publicly. Cranford truly is a remarkable town with so many remarkable people who are ready to stick up for it.
And that is precisely what we will be doing again this week. On Thursday (May 16), we and many other concerned Cranford residents will be attending the Union County Freeholders’ meeting. We will tell the Freeholders that PSE&G’s proposal to run high-voltage transmission lines and toxic poles through residential streets and schools is unacceptable. Because PSE&G’s proposal runs down county roads and impacts multiple union county towns, it is critical that we get maximum Freeholder support.
And to do that it is important that Cranford again has a strong showing at this meeting.
So please join us this
Thursday at 7:00 PM
10 Elizabethtown Plaza, 6th floor, Elizabeth, NJ
Let the Freeholders know that this is unacceptable and that they need to stand with Cranford and push PSE&G to find the least impactful and least intrusive alternative for Cranford.
